Even though this seems to be more Shadow's year (his first appearance dates back to June 23, 2001 so should he share a birthday with Sonic in your opinion?) we continue to cheer and celebrate our absolute favorite hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog, who reaches a new important milestone, the thirty-third anniversary!!! 

This year we will celebrate with the remastered of one of the most successful 3D videogame of the saga, Sonic Generations, enriched by some extras and the presence of Shadow with a story dedicated to him in which we will experience improved gameplay based on the powers of Chaos Control (at least according to the words of its creator, Takashi Iizuka). The release of SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS is scheduled for each system on October 25th so there won't be long to wait. 

Let's not forget the third Sonic movie sheduled in december in which the black hedgehog, Sonic's nemesis and ally, will make his appearance. Another tasty autumn awaits for Sonic fans, get ready!

Anche se questo pare essere più l'anno di Shadow (la sua prima apparizione risale al 23 Giungo 2001 quindi dovrebbe condividere il compleanno con Sonic secondo voi?) noi continuiamo ad acclamare e festeggiare il nostro riccio preferito in assoluto, Sonic The Hedgehog, che raggiunge un nuovo importante traguardo, il trentatreesimo anniversario!!! 

Quest'anno festeggeremo con la remastered di uno dei videogiochi 3d più riusciti della saga, Sonic Generations, arricchito da alcuni extra e dalla presenza di Shadow con una storia a lui dedicata in cui sperimenteremo un gameplay leggermente differente basato sui poteri del Chaos Control (stando almeno alle parole del suo creatore, Takashi Iizuka). L'uscita di SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS è prevista per ogni sistema il 25 Ottobre quindi non ci sarà moltissimo da aspettare. 

Non dimentichiamoci poi del terzo film di Sonic in uscita a fine anno, in cui farà la sua comparsa proprio il porcospino nero, nemesi e alleato del nostro. 

Si prospetta un altro gustoso autunno per i fan di Sonic, preparatevi!

Dreamcast (Pal) Anniversary! / Anniversario del Dreamcast (Pal)!

24 years ago one of the most innovative (and unfortunate) consoles in all of history was released across Europe, here is the Sega Dreamcast, the first console to allow you to play on the Internet thanks, among others, to the immense Phantasy Star Online itself icon of online gaming of the 2000s. And don't forget that it was the first console to rely on an operative system like Windows! But do we want to talk about the Visual Memory Unit? An ingenious device which, in addition to allowing the progress of the various games to be saved, became a real micro console which allowed you to play some simple games even away from the main console and in some cases, load the progress obtained on the main game to obtain new power-ups or effects 

Dreamcast marked an era and consoles today probably wouldn't be the same without its contribution.

24 anni fa usciva in tutta Europa una delle console più innovative (e sfortunate) di tutta la storia, ecco il Sega Dreamcast, la prima console a permettere di giocare su Internet grazie, tra gli altri, all'immenso Phantasy Star Online vera e propria icona del gaming online anni 2000. Non dimentichiamoci inoltre che è stata la prima console ad appoggiarsi ad un sistema operativo come Windows! Ma vogliamo parlare della Visual Memory Unit? Un dispositivo geniale che, oltre ad assicurare il salvataggio dei progressi dei vari giochi, diventava una vera e propria micro console tascabile che permetteva di giocare ad alcuni semplici giochini anche lontano dalla console principale e in alcuni casi, caricare i progressi ottenuti sul gioco principale per ottenere nuovi potenziamenti od effetti (ricordate Sonic Adventure con il suo Chao Garden? Geniale).

Dreamcast ha segnato un'epoca e probabilmente le console oggi non sarebbero le stesse senza il suo apporto.
